Beth and I dined on mango juice and biscuits in bed for breakfast watching ‘Pay Check’. One of those films that has big names in but we'd never actually heard off…I didn't enjoy it enough to watch the end- that's my review for you right there. 10:00am we followed Raj out of the hotel for an orientation walk around Jaipur, admiring the pink city. We stopped for chai at Raj’s favourite stall, bought kachori from a small corner stall, and lassi in a narrow café, served in flat based, cone shaped clay containers. Raj showed us the Wind Palace and the Royal Palace. The walk ended at the observatory (where Raj left us) and we had a guided tour, lunch followed at a restaurant called LMB, finally finishing at Albert Hall. I was really impressed by the observatory and all of the structures and techniques. We must have been told the time at the observatory every four minutes but Beth still asked as we sat down straight afterwards ‘what's the time?’. I didn't answer. I took a sweaty tuc tuc back to the hotel and had a nana nap. We ate dinner at the same restaurant we had lunched in the day before. I had the butter chicken that Beth had had. I think this restaurant could be my favourite restaurant so far.
