Raj woke me up at 7:30am. I had slept for 12 hours. The train was due to pull into Delhi in 10-15 minutes. Full of snot I packed up my sleeping bag liner and waited to disembark. Waiting white, air conditioned taxis took us to the hotel and we confirmed at 11:00am pick up time for our Urban Adventures tour of Delhi. From what I had seen of Delhi so far I wasn't entirely enamoured by it, so I was hopeful that I'd see a different side of Delhi. We visited the twelve stone well first. A protected monument that is supposedly haunted by the souls of people who sacrificed themselves in the well. Then two tombs, one of which the inspiration for the design of the Taj Mahal. Lunch was at a fast food chain. The food was good but we ate standing up at cocktail tables and it all seemed a little disorganised. Next, a visit to Mehrauli village. By this point we were all tired and a little grumpy. The guide, very lovely as she was, also kept giving us little pieces of incorrect information. This didn't massively bother me, Mads, Jess, Dylan or JohnMiller. But Dom was getting really irritated about it and snappy- he knows everything about everything, and what he doesn't know he googles straight away. It must have been quite intimidating for her. We did a drive by of the presidents house and India gate and lastly visited a brightly coloured Hindu temple. The minibus dropped us back to the hotel at 5:30pm and we met for dinner in the lobby at 7:00pm. Dinner was just around the corner. We also learnt that the drinking age in Delhi is 25. We joked that Mads couldn't drink so she sipped on a Shirley Temple. Our final North group dinner finished we all headed off for bed
