Dubai TV is great. I'm not meeting Toby until 1pm so sit in bed all morning. At the supermarket I bought strawberry yogurts, tinned fruit, Moroccan mint tea bags and vanilla latte Starbucks drinks and got some free polystyrene trays to eat off so I have a little picnic on my bed. I watch The River Wild and The Hunger Games. Tobe has a check list of documents that he needs to provide for his new job go through and he's just got a police check to pick up from the station so he comes over a little earlier to wait for the phone call to say it's ready. We watch the Hunger Games and I tell Tobe how the books finish(he won't watch or read them) and we decide that if we were picked in the reeping we’d lose. Hands down, no contest. Holding our hands up stammering “can't see just talk about this? Maybe go have a drink and work this out?”. We wouldn't make for a good show. Tobe gets the call and we head off to the police station, we pop in, the form ready and waiting and regret letting the taxi go that had dropped us off. As we wait for our return taxi, Toby gets a call from the estate agent. Flat is a go. Off to Barasti to celebrate; job and flat nearly complete! Hoegarden and daiquiris until the sun goes down and dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.
